

Sky Mavis, the creators of the viral mobile game Axie Infinity, reached out to our team once again with an exciting challenge: to promote their new game, Axie Infinity Origin, through a hybrid online tournament. This event needed to be broadcasted globally while also managing the on-ground logistics in the Philippines.

One of our primary tasks was to develop the overall event design that aligned with the fresh art style of Axie Infinity Origin. Our design team meticulously studied the new Axies, game maps, and interfaces to craft a look and feel that embodied the game’s essence.
Since the event was set in the Philippines, we infused a Filipino touch to resonate with local audiences. We embraced the theme of a “Pyestang Pinoy” or “Filipino Fiesta,” representing the vibrant culture and the celebratory spirit of this milestone event.

We ensured that the event design translated seamlessly across all assets, from the stage setup to the broadcast visuals, creating a cohesive and immersive experience.


Creating a hybrid event presented unique challenges, balancing the needs of both the broadcast and the on-ground tournament. Each aspect had its own hurdles, but our team was determined to push through and deliver a memorable event that would captivate gamers worldwide.

The event was a resounding success, drawing a global audience and leaving a lasting impression. The seamless blend of Filipino culture and the new game’s design elements created an engaging experience that resonated deeply with the audience. This success paved the way for another Axie Tournament on Philippine soil, solidifying our collaboration with Sky Mavis.
